EAB – Apartamento 23

A light lights up in the urban space. Among anonymous properties, their lined-up windows and unknown stories, Eduardo Borges chooses one to walk in, occupy and transform.

His process of restoration has a clear authorial imprint: the rescue of the essence of environments with the appreciation of architectonic characteristics from the time, associated with modern resources and techniques.

The result is art and its own identity, ready to receive new residents and to witness the stories still to come.

An apartment in a 1943 building, where the sun shows up for breakfast and to frame monuments. The scenery has acquired new, refined, and cosmopolitan aesthetic, from the perspective of Eduardo Borges, in an unseen initiative in Curitiba.

With Labis Design, the interior designs gained form in graphic design, at all phases of project communication.

The visual language developed by Labis Design was striking by the comfort and the simplicity, visible characteristics in Eduardo Borges projects.

The revitalization happened in 3 moments which involved a select crowd and a highly sensorial presentation.

Stage 1 - Experimenting the site

A virtual invite was created for a brunch in the property, where the invitees could get to know the site before its transformation, and travel back in time amidst colors, memories and original details.

Labis Design participated in the conception of this intimate, which invited people to explore the area by the senses. They were called out to take pictures on the spot, inspired by scents, music, and pre-selected words by Eduardo Borges.

Stage 2 - The artistic intervention

From 15 photos taken at the site, Labis Design made an artistic interpretation of them, in a creative work of much sensibility and free expression.

Stage 3 - The doors are open for new things.

Time to know the result and to enter the alchemy accomplished by Eduardo Borges, inaugurated with an exposition of artistic interventions.

Labis Design created a virtual invite for a brunch presentation, besides a layout and diagramming of booklets which tell the history of the site.

The visual language of these materials was developed in complete harmony with the project, bringing to the graphic materials the essence of Eduardo Borges work.

Relationship material

To communicate the Project in detail to the press and opinion makers, Labis Design created the layout and diagramming of its history in a brief version registered in a USB business card.

A press kit was also created in rigid cardboard paper where the booklets, the USB business card, and Eduardo Borges business card were organized, besides the insertion of the project on the site www.eaborges.com.br
