With its production started in 1996, LV artisanal cachaça has been produced in the traditional and typical region of Minas Gerais, where the actress and film producer Lúcia Veríssimo owns her farm and distillery.
Labis Design has redesigned the LV cachaça based on Brand Language Design, which helped us in the process of creating and combining the elements that would best convey the values and that made up the new product design.
When Lucia Verissimo decided to market her cachaça, the drink was not yet as valued. Thanks to its work and dedication with the product, cachaça can now be enjoyed in the most sophisticated restaurants in Brazil, such as Cipriani and Antiquarius. His determination helped to break the prejudice that defined her as an inferior beverage.
With the redesign of craft cachaça Lúcia Veríssimo, handcrafted in Minas Gerais, Labis Design intended to add value and “premiumness” to the drink, since it would be destined to the foreign market, raising the public’s expectation regarding the drink .
Out of national lands, the Brazilian distillate is not usually perceived by its quality, being used only to make the famous caipirinha. What the international market ignores is that pure consumption is the most delicious way to enjoy the drink.
What Lúcia Veríssimo wants to show to the international market is that to be consumed pure, cachaça can not be produced industrially, only with a handmade product you can feel the true flavor of sugarcane.
The result of the project was the creation of a new label and redesign of the label, besides the definition of a new bottle that would guarantee more presence and authority to the product.
As a consequence, we have obtained a premium product and ready for the international market, leaving evident its artisan characteristics and of excellent flavor.
Cachaça was presented to the international market in June 2016 at an event at the Brazilian embassy in Rome, Italy.
