Banana Milanesa was born as a cultural vein of Labis Design to promote independent initiatives that spread culture in its various forms. Through Brand Language Design, we developed the whole concept of the event, as well as its visual identity. After the success of Deforma Mostra Design, we expanded the project and launched the Deforma Magazine in 2014.
It was two years of Deforma Mostra Design. The exhibition served as a showcase for new and not so new talents, managed to bring the public closer to design and art, created space, promoted meetings, developed culture.
The project has expanded, to diversify the public, to go further. And that is why, in November 2014, the Deforma Magazine was launched.
The content edition of the magazine is affective. Deforma departs from the judgment and the pretense of defining anything. Deforma is a vehicle of culture, and as a vehicle, it just wants to lead, to drive, to tell, to delight.
The graphic line does not depart much from what had been done for the Deforma Mostra Design in previous years, moving away totally from a traditional route.
The laid-back aspect is brought about by the overlap of images and deconstruction of the layout, with texts that do not respect the horizontal pattern and blocks of text and images that integrate and complete.
