Graduated in Graphic Design from PUCPR and specialist in artistic design by the Institut Superior de Disseny and Escola de la Imatge in Barcelona. His research and production are focused on painting on canvas and panels in various formats, techniques and materials. In the tangle of brushstrokes and layers of paint, the eyes fill with imaginable situations, worlds open to the eyes in front of their paintings.
Labis Design created the creation of the visual identity and website for the André Mendes brand through the Brand Language Design method, which gave us the basis for the design of a clean brand and site that would highlight the work of the artist.
Labis Design created the identity from the exploration of the plastic artist’s visual world. The idea was that the brand was very simple and clean, not interfering in the work of the painter. We have developed a simple, adaptable brand that serves as a base that further projects the focus for the art of André Mendes.
The site was designed for the user to have the same experience across all platforms and devices, featuring modular components and an intuitive interface.
